A graduate of West Point, Fred has an MBA from the University of Navarra in Barcelona and an MPA from Harvard University. A highly decorated retired Army Colonel, Fred has the distinction of being the first Special Forces officer to be awarded the George C. Marshall Fellowship at the US Department of State.
A published author and fluent in three languages, Fred specializes in organizational design, leadership and management, cross-cultural collaboration, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution.
She has consulted to the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations Albany Office, and has taught undergraduate and graduate students at NYU and American University, respectively. A published author and respected speaker, Cynthia is a founding member of the Diversity and Spirituality Network, which explores the creation of new paradigms in diversity work, and is a member of the board of directors of Democracy 2000, which promotes cooperative resolution of intractable public policy issues.
